Touch functionality does not work in Microsoft Edge

I tried using this sample on Microsoft Edge and the touch functionality does not work.

The issue is that the detection for touch doesn't work in Edge. I created a PR to fix this. Its just a matter of wether or not you want to use "PointerEvent" in window or "maxTouchPoints" in navigator
