Reactive Variable when offline data inserted into Minimongo ?

Hi,

My usecase is the following.

I have a collection with one big document (dog breeds). As I do not know to download it each the application is launched, there is a version number.
My goal will be:

• First Launch, anything in Minimongo, I will download (publish.once) everything and keep localy with jam:offline
• After, I wiil wait that jam:offline injects everything in Minimongo (My request), check the local version number with the server. If no change, I will do nothing otherwise I will update (publish.once) the collection.

I hope it is clear and it is a valid usecase

Hmm, you could use isSyncing since it will flip from true to false after the data has been loaded into minimongo. Otherwise, I will keep this in mind for a potential future enhancement but I don't have near term plans for it.

i think this var should be exported as reactive var, so we can show loading spinner while offline data loading in minimongo.

Something like this grounddb implementation.

Usecase for using client only collection.

Or mb i wrong and loading in monimongo large collection will freeze ui, and no need for loading spinner)
