e.g.: There are Backups made on USB-Disk 1 and you have buyed a bigger USB-Disk and you want to move the backups on the new disk
If you use ZFS, you can use the features of ZFS... But if not: A normal filesystem copy will "convert" all hardlinks to normal file copy :(
