Compressing executable using UPX 4.2.4 on network share

Compressing an executable x.exe on a network share gives a "rename error: Permission denied (EACCESS)" and afterwards there is neither an unpacked nor a packed x.exe on the network share but the file is deleted. Should be easily reproducible.
