DRM Support (Widevine, PlayReady, ClearKey)

Hi,

Thanks for this great library! Currently, it doesn’t support DRM-protected content. Adding support for Widevine, PlayReady, and ClearKey across platforms would make it much more useful for commercial streaming apps.

Would love to see this feature added!

Thanks for the honest answer — totally understand DRM is non-trivial and expensive to implement.

If you have an estimate of scope or sponsorship range required for Widevine support, it would be helpful to know. I (or others interested) might consider pooling sponsorship depending on cost and roadmap.

For now, Web would be the priority — especially Widevine support there. Cross-platform later would be great, but Web is the immediate need.

I went ahead and experimented with it and opened a PR adding initial Web DRM support: #168

It adds Widevine support for Compose Web (WASM/JS) using dash.js + browser EME. Details and docs are in the PR description. PlayReady/ClearKey and native platforms are marked as future work.

Happy to adjust the approach if you have feedback.
