FR: Long press space bar using on-screen keyboard does not allow for cursor placement

When using the iPhone (and probably iPad) on-screen keyboard and long pressing the space bar, I'm not able to move the cursor like I am in other applications. Normally I should be able to long pressing the space bar and then drag my finger to anywhere on the screen and drop the cursor at the desired position.

In the context of rootshell, it would be cool if this could be used to move the cursor (like a mouse) to any point in the current line, or potentially more beneficial in Vi to move the cursor to some point in the open file.

Hopefully I'm explaining this right ;) Let me know if this isn't clear. You can also test in other apps to see what I'm referring to.

I initially thought this wasn’t possible, but the refactoring I did awhile back for CJK input exposed the surface to get the floating cursor callbacks. I have an initial version of this working. It is working reasonably well, but the surface area of the keyboard doesn’t match the size of the terminal so you effectively are moving around in a subset of the terminal. The more I change the mapping and the more erratic it will feel. I’ll try to strike a balance after more on device testing.
