Allow user to set additionnal info on each new measure #17
Description
Suggestion:
Add a dialog to be filled by user for each new measure. This dialog can contains 2 infos:
- watch position: 1 value selected in a drop-down list (see proposal below)
- Open comment: text area (to add for instance: "full wind")
Feature details:
- Priority is on "Watch Position" (open comment is a "bonus")
- Neither the position nor the Comment should be mandatory in the dialog
- Suggested list of values for watch position:
. Worn (stationary)
. Worn (active)
. Dial Up
. Dial Down
. Crown Up
. Crown Down
. On Watch-winder
. Misc / Other
Opened questions:
- does this list of position needs to be manageable by user? I mean add / remove entries + define entries sort order (or sort done automatically by usage frequency)
- do the user can enable / disable this advanced feature? (removing dialog prompt when making a new measure)
- at what level settings should be defined? Personally I think once at app level is fine.
Impacts on app Development:
- New screen when performing a measure
- Store info
- User setting to enable / disable this additional feature
- Compute accuracy stats by Position based on this new "position" info for a "serie" - including the current / not close serie (paid feature only ?)
- The new recorded infos may also be displayed on graph segment, see Graph: display measure details on selected segment #7.
