Import search disregards previously applied language filter

Observed behavior

Reported by @akolson: Not sure if this is a bug but the search field disregards any previously applied language filter. I suspect this is the case with other filters as well.

Expected behavior

Filters are reapplied when the search term is changed.

@bjester @vkWeb The language filter is currently for checking the language of specific resources. I would like to suggest adding a "channels language" option just as we have the "channels" option. These parameters can be used to maintain the same channels across browsing (with an option to switch) and the current filtering mechanisms would remain intact for other functionalities. Any suggestions?
