Unstable - Inheritable modal - No metadata is added to a newly created folder or exercise

Observed behavior

When I create a new folder or an exercise within a folder with metadata I am correctly seeing the modal, however when I click the Continue button I can see that the metadata is not added to the folder or the exercise. If I copy them then I can see that the metadata is added correctly.

Expected behavior

The metadata should be added to a newly created folder or exercise.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Go to https://unstable.studio.learningequality.org/en/accounts/#/ and sign in
2. Create a folder with some metadata and create another folder or an exercise in it
3. Observe that the metadata of the parent folder is not being added to the new folder/exercise
