Is there any plan to switch to Python 3.6?

I use Arch Linux. I have to install python35 from aur when compiling. But extra has python 3.6.6-1. I have to use a python one version back, just for limetext. Can we move to latest python so that this extra step is not necessary?

You can make a PR, but the project isn't under active development.
