Looks good to me. Might be nice to create macro(s) for the bytemuck tests, so that the logic for checking the impls is only in one place.

I think the discussion from last week (#office hours > 2025-09-25) still stands, that we should instead get this marked as deprecated in Peniko v0.5, and then remove it shortly thereafter. |

Also re-orders the

This is of course still useful functionality, but it does not belong in
Peniko; instead, renderers wishing to expose this optimisation should do so individually.This PR cannot be merged until a PR integrating this has been opened in Vello.
