Different icons in left panel and files list

Hi, I created some folders with a custom icon (complete set into ~/.icons/WhiteSur/places/) but they don't show in left panel.

Is there a way to solve that?

Maybe Nemo now uses symbolic icons on the left panel?
6.4.5 was now displaying that way.

I created a set of icons of all sizes including symbolic icons as custom icons. Problem is I don't know how to make these folder default places in left panel and how are defined icons for left panel.
I thought I should define these folders as default in ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs but it doesn't work. It's still generic folder in left panel.
Exemple: ~/.icons/WhiteSur/places/scalable/folder-pdf.svg - ~/.icons/WhiteSur/places/symbolic/folder-pdf-symbolic.svg - etc.

A shot in the dark, but maybe they now use some kind of generic symbolic icon set?

The icons are simply the symbolic icons of my theme. But for the folders added to the left panel, they remain the generic icon. As my screenshot shows.

Maybe the generics are xapp-symbolic-icons or the like?

I forgot to say, I use Nemo 6.4.5 provided by Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.2.
xapp icons… It is true that generic symbolic icons are also used in applets.
