fast acting ad redirect sites

there are sites like https://5dabf928ad9ad4.com that act so fast that there is no chance to hit the YesScript icon on the toolbar to block it. There needs to be a method to manually add a site of allow a temporary block all option so that the script doesn't have a chance to act before it completes.

Hi, I'm planning to add an option panel where you can add domains manually and even switch to an always blocking mode like NoScript. See the following branch, I welcome patches and pull requests, I'll probably have time to do this in a couple of month:

To install it manually:

• extract it and zip it back without a parent folder
• rename it to .xpi extension
• about:config
• xpinstall.signatures.required -> false
• file menu / open file -> .xpi file

@bondo01 FYI, 5dabf928ad9ad4.com is one of Propellerads revolving adservers (see easylist.txt).

If you have Adblock Plus installed, add a custom filters:

&zoneid=*&ad_$popup
example.com##a[rel][style]

or

&zoneid=*&ad_$popup
example.com##a[style]

Replace example.com by the site which open the popup.

I stopped using "Adblock Plus" because there where websites that somehow would detect that had the browser extension installed and did not perform right. Even if I disabled "Adblock Plus" the site would not run/display correctly. These sites used some server side javascripts that I could not download or examine locally. They did not detect YesScript or Ghostery.

There is no general solution for anti adblock, search for filters at easylist forum or provide example site then we will try to help you with customs filters.
