Summary

As of now only .zip, .csv, .pdf, common image and video formats are supported - we'd like to attach LibreOffice files as well.

Why should this be worked on?

LibreOffice is a standard tool in many areas and attaching it to an issue would allow to share editables files between the member of the team working on an issue.

Hello, we would also need some other file types, like .patch and maybe more. What is the status on this issue? Could we have a configurable list in settings of "extra_file_types_allowed" ?

I couldn't agree more. The software I'm working on uses files with custom extensions as archive files, and it would be really helpful to be able to upload them directly as attachments without having to first package them into a zip.
