Problem:

  • On the profile settings page, the error message for the display name was not appropriate. It was always displaying "Please enter display name" for all cases.

Solution:

  • Made necessary changes to ensure the error message displays correctly based on the specific condition.

Walkthrough

The recent changes to the ProfileSettingsPage component enhance error message handling for the display_name field. Instead of a generic error message, the system now presents specific feedback based on the error's nature. This improvement focuses on delivering more informative responses to users, ultimately enriching their experience while interacting with the profile settings.

Changes

File Change Summary
web/app/profile/page.tsx Updated error handling for display_name to display dynamic messages from errors?.display_name?.message.

Poem

🐇 In a world where names do shine,
Errors now are more divine!
Instead of bland, a message clear,
To guide you, dear, without fear.
Hooray for changes, oh so bright,
User joy takes flight tonight! 🌟
