💻 Welcome computer scientists!

About me

I'm Marco Petri, a Computer Science and Engineering graduate from Politecnico di Milano (born in 1998). My academic and professional path is driven by a deep interest in machine learning, which was the core focus of my Master's studies and thesis.

My thesis work centered on anomaly detection in time series, a field I continue to explore. Currently, I am actively researching topics to pursue a Ph.D. , with my interests extending to areas like Joint Embedding Predictive Architectures (JEPA) and their application in robot control.

Professionally, I have experience as a Software Engineer and Consultant at Reply, and as a Data Scientist at Intesa Sanpaolo. My expertise spans building complex systems, system integration, PoC development, and end-to-end Data Science projects, utilizing languages like Java and Python along with modern DevOps practices.
