I have a DokuWiki blog in which I keep a few technical documents in .md format. When I click on these I see only the plain-text rendering, MarkView doesn't 'spring into action' in this case. In the blog configuration the mimetype is 'md text/markdown'.
The extension works fine to look at local files but I'd like to see online files also rendered.

Hi @elliot-radi, MarkView does support rendering remote markdown files when the URL path directly points to the .md file. For example, these URLs render correctly:

• https://code.claude.com/docs/en/cli-reference.md
• https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/build/checkout/customize-footer.md

However, your DokuWiki is serving the file through a PHP proxy (fetch.php?media=...) where the filename is a query parameter, not part of the URL path. This URL pattern isn't something MarkView currently detects.

If DokuWiki exposes a direct raw file URL, opening that directly in the browser should work. If the only access is through fetch.php, this use case isn't currently supported, but I'm noting it as a potential improvement for future versions.
