Thank you for creating this wonderful extension

I especially appreciate the mermaid diagrams, LaTeX support, and presentation mode.

It would be great to expand the customization options in settings, allowing users to tailor the look of their presentations.

For example:

• Offering controls to adjust CSS colors (for fonts, backgrounds, and headings)
• Integrate more fonts via the Google Fonts API
• Set default image sizing.

A JSON format or dedicated form could make these adjustments easy to manage for users.

Just a bit of context: MarkView is a Markdown viewer, not a full presentation tool like PowerPoint or Google Slides. The Presentation Mode is designed for quickly sharing a document as slides, so some of the more advanced features would go beyond what makes sense for a viewer extension.

After reviewing your feedback, here’s what’s planned for the upcoming release:

Presentation Theme Settings (Settings → Presentation tab)

• Custom colors for background, text, headings, and accent
• Font selection from 8 supported Google Fonts
• Background image via URL with adjustable opacity
• All content elements (code blocks, tables, diagrams, control bar) automatically adapt to your custom colors

Settings Import / Export (Settings → Import / Export tab)

• Export all settings as a JSON file for backup or sharing
• Import settings from a previously exported file

What’s not included in this release (and why):

• Full Google Fonts catalog - the upcoming release will include a curated selection of 8 supported Google Fonts. Allowing users to specify any custom font will be evaluated further based on our privacy policy.
• Cloud-synced team templates - this needs backend infrastructure (accounts, sync service), which is outside the scope of a browser extension. Settings can be shared manually via JSON export/import instead.
