Feature: Command Palette - Currency and Unit converter

Description of the new feature / enhancement

I think Command palette needs currency and unit converter. I saw Powertoys Run already has Unit converter, don't know why its not included to Command Palette aswell.

Not sure about that currnecy converter. i saw someone requested that to powertoys run, so hopefully it will be also comes to Command Palette.

I think this is a perfectly good extension idea! But I don't think this is one that we'll build and maintain ourselves. If there's someone in the community interested in building this, I'd be more than happy to help give some pointers.

Incredible! If you need any help getting it onto winget, let me know. Once the Store signs your msix package, you should be able to upload that signed msix as a Release on github, and then link that to winget. That'll let it show up in the palette itself 😄

Thank you for the guidance! I'm not very familiar with this process. Does this mean I need to go through the Store approval process first to obtain a signed msix package? Currently, my local msix package is unsigned. I'd appreciate any additional details about this workflow.

Honesstly, I haven't been through the entire process myself. There are other ways of signing an msix, but I know that the Store approval process will do it.

Then, that store-signed .msix is the one you want to upload to winget.

I believe @davidegiacometti has been through the whole process, so he might know about the details of that process

• Build
• Submit to Store to get the MSIX signed
• GitHub release with signed MSIX
• Submit to WinGet

I have partially automated the process. The linked repo have pipeline for build and update WinGet manifest. Store part is still manual.
