Chat: Terminal Input/Output boxes dissappear when I click them

Not sure whats going on here, I haven't been able to repro this.
This is an existing widget, not sure what changed recently in this case.

Couldnt repro this but interestingly found probably-related issue where read-terminal is broken and does not do anything:
