Using Wingetcreate new with this url: https://windows-distribution.merci-app.com/Releases/MerciAppSetup.exe
fails with

Failed to download installer.
HTTP response was unsuccessful. Status code: Forbidden

Steps to reproduce

• wingetcreate new
• using this url: https://windows-distribution.merci-app.com/Releases/MerciAppSetup.exe

Expected behavior

No issue downloading this setup from this Url

I suspect the web server hosting this installer is blocking the user-agent passed by wingetcreate.

Will do. I've seen this with a current existing package now too.

wingetcreate: an additional --useragent option will do, similar to --token

the .yaml should have support for something like:

Installers:

• Architecture: x64
  InstallerUrl: <some.exe>
  InstallerSha256:
  UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 ....
