Make redisc work with AWS CoreDNS addon?

Hi, 

I'm trying to get redisc to work with AWS CoreDNS managed addon, but getting error for "Error during parsing: Unknown directive 'redisc'", it looks like I need to recompile CoreDNS to enable redisc, is it the requirement?  Since CoreDNS is managed by AWS, we couldn't install our own custom build. Is there any way to use redisc with a managed CoreDNS?
