Can you hide the little animated green audio wave icon that appears in voice channels now?

It looks like discord now has another small addition that I'm finding a little distracting, it's a little animated green waveform that appears to the left of the channel name, is it possible to remove? If the green line on the left is removable too that would be nice too, I don't know why they keep adding stuff to it.

It's still an experiment, so we won't make any changes to that section until it entirely rolls out due to the fact it could mess up the ui of those who don't have it

if the experiment fully rolls out please nuke this, it's absurdly cpu intensive lol. had to turn on reduced motion to stop it nuking my CPU when i open a large server that has like 3 vcs active at once
