This change removes temporary socket aliases from the backend that were kept for backward compatibility. Since the frontend no longer uses these aliases, they have been removed to improve code maintainability and readability. The refactor includes:

  • Removal from backend/src/types/socket.ts.
  • Cleanup of backend/src/modules/chat/chat.socket.ts.
  • Synchronization of documentation in docs/ and FLATELY_COMPLETE_DOCUMENTATION.md.
  • Update of UML diagrams in scratch/render_diagrams.html.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 9647757625533611363 started by @mitul-bhatia

- Removed legacy aliases `new_message`, `send_message`, and `join` from Socket.IO event types and registration logic.
- Updated backend documentation and diagrams to reflect the removal of these aliases.
- Ensured consistent use of canonical event names: `message`, `sendMessage`, and `joinRoom`.
