Heya @santiago-cordoba-form3, thanks for the PR! There's already a discussion for this in #4318 - so I'm going to close this PR in preference of that one, adding more PRs to this just complicates the discussion and spreads it out. Thanks though! With the new version of containerd, now we can update all the opentelemetry libs.
