Mod Header is not working in latest chromium browser (ModHeader - Modify HTTP headers" was turned off)

While running and uploading crx file using selenium java with chromium browser with latest verion we are getting this. But i need to manually click Manage exenstion and i need to enable it

Can we please help us to reslove this. This is blocker for our testing with latest chromium version

This is working in Chromium 128.0.6576.0 and not working in later version 129.0.6631.0

Did you manage to solve this? I'm having a similar issue with 129 and later versions of chromedriver. When ran locally on 129 or 130 everything seems to be fine, but any runs we have setup with github actions are just throwing an error about the extension not loading:
Request failed with status 500 due to session not created: session not created: failed to wait for extension background page to load: chrome-extension://jciacimpfapbkckkegdfngcnbdpabaoi/_generated_background_page.html

We're using wdio v8.

@Chris94Lee : Still we are seeing the error, It is perfectly woking in 128.0.6576.0. But latest verison 131 and all now working.

My team and I are experiencing the same issue. It also doesn't work with the current versions of Chrome (137 and above). Has anybody found a similar solution for this issue?

Please let us know if you can update this extension so that it works with Manifest v3 extension support in newer versions of chrome.

@alfio-valesini We are also faced the same issue and now we stopped using the modheaders, instead of we started using devtools with selenium directly.
