infinite redirect when being asked to login

I restarted my Firefox today, and my standu.ps tab received an infinite redirect notification for:

https://www.standu.ps/oidc/callback/?error=login_required&error_description=Login%20required&state=1IvbHz8OaFcAksZ2wekYTw5au9PBxP00

Last time I hit this a month or so ago, the solution was to clear cookies. My impression was that cookie-clearing was a one-time side effect of switching to auth0, but that's not the case.

Happy to keep this buggy session up to help people debug if necessary.

Pretty sure this is in the mozilla-django-oidc machinery. I wrote up mozilla/mozilla-django-oidc#153 for it.

I've had the same problem, and clearing cookies fixed it for me too. I don't have any sense what the problem is, alas.

Same here as of today (I get redirected from the auth0 website to standu.ps in a loop). Removing the 'sessionid' cookie made the issue disappear.

Same issue for me, switching to a private window worked.

I use standu.ps every monday to post my previous week's work (and rarely in between), and I routinely hit this every single time.

@jdm @EricRahm @bnjbvr @nnethercote @froydnj: All of you have had issues with infinite redirects. @peterbe spent some time fixing a similar issue on airmo and then fixed the issue in mozilla-django-oidc which is the library that Standups uses. I just updated the lib and pushed that to Standups -stage and -prod. Pretty sure that should fix the issue for all of you.

Can you let me know if you continue to have issues?
