Login flow is confusing

I have a standu.ps account. When I login I am greeted with my own profile:

Being greeted with a form upon login is very unexpected, and makes me think that I need to fill these details in. It would be better to take me to my entries page, i.e. https://www.standu.ps/user/nnethercote/.

Also, this text is confusing: "If you think you already have an account with a profile, then log out and let us know. We can check the database and merge your accounts." Even once I realize this is my profile page, I'm still not quite sure what to make of that text... of course I have an account with a profile, that's what I'm looking at! Perhaps it would be clearer to say "If you think you have multiple accounts, ...".
