Version-02

14 Jul 01:59

Choose a tag to compare

In this release, a more realistic treatment of the geometry has been added as well as the inclusion of the lookup tables to handle refraction. The stability of the look-up tables has been checked, and the results are compatible with the hard scan.

In the next release we hope to expand the look-up tables to also include reflection off the base. This will become useful in calculation of transition radiation.

Version 01.01

This has some small cleaning updates. Going to work on more accurate representation of geometry for next update.

Version 01.00

This release contains the bunch structure as well as configurable parameters for the gaussian bunches that we know exist in the experiment.

Version 7

This release contains some slight tweaks. Ultimately I am using Geant4 for the calculation of the vector potential and then a separate coding area for the analysis. This is due to some time-costly mistakes that resulted from sloppy coding of root scripts. Not going to make that again.

Version 6

All of the basic information exists along with some additional plotting scripts. Small updates on handling of timing have been included.

Version 5

02 Oct 05:13

In this release I have added the vector potential calculation as well as many scripts used to calculate the electric field.

Version 4

04 Aug 07:37

Choose a tag to compare

Tagging this code set before adding vector potential calculation.

Not many updates. I am going to add in more realistic detector setup that is comparable to ELS test site.

Tagging latest version

Choose a tag to compare

There are still some issues in this version with the particle counting and also the ionization energy loss. However, many cross-checks have been done, and more functionality added. A tag is justified.

Version00.01

04 Feb 09:21

Choose a tag to compare

Tagging this skeleton version, which may become useful in the future when one doesn't want to start from scratch.
