there is no log. the mod did not instigate a crash, it simply... doesnt work?

I crafted a basic iron hammer and it did not mine in 3x3

see above- i simply made a hammer and it did not do what it was supposed to do. I can send a list of the mods i have (Even the full "modpack" if you need to) but i dont know whats happening.

i just found out they mine in 3x3 just fine as long as the target block ISNT stone or a stone-adjacient material

yup, it became an excavator
the funny thing is, now it works just fine as the 3x3 Omnitool its supposed to be. Really weird ngl.
