Self registration of ut assert tests

I would like to see the ut assert framework use self registration.

I would like to see

• the linker script abused to put test records all in the same section, and then loop over that section to find tests.
• Macros for defining tests

Describe alternatives you've considered
Current non registration.

Additional context
Would like to poke at this, and want a issue number to commit against.
