Code Review

This pull request upgrades the express package to version 4.22.1, which is a significant and important update for security, addressing multiple vulnerabilities. The changes in package.json and package-lock.json are correct. It's worth noting that express@4.20.0 introduced a change where the default depth for URL-encoded data parsing is now 32 (previously unlimited). This is unlikely to impact your current application but is good to be aware of. I have also included a suggestion for improving your project's dependencies.

With this upgrade to a more recent version of Express, you have an opportunity to simplify your project's dependencies. Since version 4.16.0, Express includes the functionality of the body-parser middleware. You can remove the explicit body-parser dependency from package.json and update your app.js to use express.urlencoded() instead of bodyParser.urlencoded(). This will make your dependencies cleaner and rely on the version of body-parser managed by Express.
