Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Cards can be assigned to users, but not to groups. If you want to add a group to a card you need to know every group member and add them manually.
Describe the solution you'd like
When adding a user to a card, also offer the groups with access to the board for selection.
Automatically resolve the selected group into single users and add all group members to the card.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Show a group icon in the list of assigned users on the card instead of the individual users.
Issues
- Possible double assignment by group and single user?
- The alternative proposal will probably not work or become complicated if a single user should become unassigned.
