Maps dose not work well when I use S3 for my data storage.

I'm surprised Maps apps is very good. But, unfortunately, I found a trouble like below.

Maps apps cannot find out "Your photos" and show them when I use S3 for a external storage. Is there a way to fix that problem? Is it a current version's specification? I've confirmed the Maps apps works well when I use a local hdd.
