No Photos on Maps

Ive scanned photos and applied manually the fixes proposed in #241 but still I have no photos loading on Maps.

su - www-data -s /bin/bash -c "php /var/www/html/occ maps:scan-photos

Scan completes without issue.

I see no errors on Maps with the exception of Your photos remaining empty and not displaying; contacts show up properly, etc.

I've verified the images have geotags.

I have two dev servers, NC 17 and NC 18, which this persists on both servers.

I cant find any setting to enable them and everything else appears in order.
And, my logs are clear.

Any idea what I may have done wrong?

One final thought, I did install manually due to the error in extracting the App that appeared a few days ago.

Same issue when right clicking on Maps to place a photo, where it suggests success.

Im not sure what I'm missing or how to troubleshoot this.

I have no errors in nextcloud.log

Still no photos appear.

Do you have some errors in the Browser Console.
Could you check in the Network analyzer what the request to "/YOURSERVER/apps/maps/photos" replies.

Other point is your cronjob executed?

Your post here makes me believe after my successful the cron job shouldnt be necessary (after your fix in issue 241)

Same here. NC 18. Lots of pictures. No permissions error. occ:maps:scan-photos shouts "added", but just a couple of empty entries in the psql db.

Any hints about how to debug it?

No maps:scan-photos will just create jobs to scan the picture. The scan it self will be done in a background job executed by cron.

Cron.php runs OK. In just a couple of seconds. It doesn't looks like it's processing the 200k entries of pictures.

Well the photos-scan it's doing it's job, there are 200k jobs generated on oc_jobs.

But the nextcloud logs are showing this:

Maybe this could be mentioned on the front page (https://github.com/nextcloud/maps) in Admin documentation.
One problem is that when cron is setup to run every 15 minutes, it perhaps won't finish scanning all the photos, is it OK that after 15 mins there's another cron job starting? This may end up overloading the server, if you initially scan a very large photos collection.
Btw. I'm still waiting for my photos to show up, but I'll wait until this cron job is finished.
