[Question] why do you need CustomLinearLayoutManager?

One question: Why do you use CustomLinearLayoutManager? Why not just LinearLayoutManager?

@oleynikd Hi! If you want to use defaultLinearLayoutManager, you need to call recyclerView.setMinimumHeight(...);. Otherwise, its default height will be zero and you won't be able to see it at all. The CustomLinearLayoutManager makes the RV to wrap its content. :)

As I've noticed RecyclerView actually doesn't work the right way no matter what LayoutManager is used!
The onBindViewHolder inside RecyclerView.Adapter method is call for all items at once! So if I have 3K items to display they all will be rendered and pushed to memory once RecyclerViewis visible. So why use RecyclerView? There's no recycle here... You could just add those items to some ScrollView...

@oleynikd please try using MyLinearLayoutManager instead (by uncomment the line final MyLinearLayoutManager layoutManager = new MyLinearLayoutManager(this, LinearLayoutManager.VERTICAL, false, getScreenHeight(this));)

You could just add those items to some ScrollView. I agree with your viewpoint @oleynikd

Nothing help. The RecyclerView does not work the right way. If use MyLinearLayoutManager, I can't scroll the RecyclerView more.
