Current maintenance status and v2.0.0 stable release timeline?

I've used FastRoute for projects in the past and am considering it for a production project. I wanted to check on the current maintenance status.

I see v2.0.0-beta1 was released in March 2024 but it's been 14 months since then. Is the project still actively maintained, and are there plans for a stable v2.0.0 release?

@scorgn the past few years have been a little challenging and I couldn't provide the level of support that I planned to get v2 across the line (yet).

The v1 still works really well and it's stable for production.

For v2, I'm working on making sure the new design works against major integrations (e.g. Mezzio) and collecting feedback from users.

My plan is to make one more pre-release and then ship the stable version.

Having feedback on the changes definitely will help moving things faster, but I aim to get the stable version around Jul/Aug.

Hi. Thanks for this stable lib that does not change like crazy.
If it works why change it...

I still use it in the new and faster microframework Maravel, improvement from Lumen 10. I added to it domain restrictions via middleware.
