Need sample video update #2

I'm new to this tool. I'm really just trying to work out what kind of url "should work" to throw at port 8060 of my tcl roku tv to make it play an mp4 video, and exactly what kind of formatting the video needs.
causes 'play on Roku' app to launch but then it says "video failed to play".
I figure it's probably because the mkv extension, but what other requirements are there. I see in the code reference to a vimeo url, but that no longer is valid. Can you update with some public videos that you know should work?
I've tried a few from https://download.blender.org/demo/movies/BBB/ without success. actually none of those would play. But I did get an original one-minute-video file from a wyzecam to play....
It doesn't need to download the whole thing first does it? Is there an official howto from roku on using app 15985? i.e. full explanation of how to use t, u, k, videoname, and videoFormat args and any other args available.
