About tomorrows meeting, I'd love to know where we stand on CommComm working groups?

If the CommComm can bring back the evangelism working group, with the purpose of working with user feedback and developing developers contents (videos) to help folks with getting started or any related difficulties that already have its solution in Node.js.

Node.js has very little content or resources that can actually help one understand the technology to the fullest or at least to a reasonable point, other than APIs and some other tricks. I think that the Evangelism WG, can focus on content development as a way of scaling the community faster and better.

Hey there!

Several things here:
While we can discuss this during today's meeting, I don't think this issue is the place for the discussion to happen.

On the Working Groups matter, there's ongoing effort to lay down groundwork that will allow us to have chartered Working Groups again, but we can't discuss specific chartered working groups as of yet.

Finally...

Diversity or Inclusivity is good, but giving folks more resources (video content) to be able to welcome Node.js has their first love, is way more important.

First, I strongly disagree. None is more important than the other. Plus, on a generic note, you might want to reconsider making such statements. It gives the feeling this is some sort of contest between initiatives, and it might hurt people who care for the one that seems "less important" to you. So all in all, -1 for me.

• l10n interest has been growing!
• The WG has been working on Crowdin integration, and getting things set up for l10n teams.
• We're working towards setting up general processes like CI, etc.
• ...and more 😉
