Page auto-reload when typing in search bar causes keystroke miss

You can see in the overlay at the bottom what keys I'm pressing "qwerty".

However, npmx.dev refreshes the page after I start typing, causing the w to be missed by the input box.

Excellent repro video, thanks for highlighting it. I used to think it was only when switching from the main page to other pages, but it turns out there's a more specific issue here

Well, this problem occurs when typing quickly. I even suspected that there might be something wrong with my keyboard before.
