How to enable --pdb when running a test?

I tried looking through the docs and code but I couldn't find a way to set the --pdb flag when running a test. Is this possible?

I Jon,

This is not something I personally do. I always insert an ipdb snippet at a specific line. But it would be interesting to have a feature to start the debugger at the first line of the targeted test without inserting any snippet. Is this what the --pdb flag does?

Note: I don't have time right now to investigate this though. And I personally don't use this plugin anymore. I switched to pytest and use https://github.com/okcompute/vim-python-tests-runner instead.
