What steps can reproduce the bug?

When generating code (for me it’s Python code, I haven’t tried other programming languages yet, but I don’t think it’s related to the programming language because whenever it needs to write any Turkish sentence or word into a txt file, it cannot write Turkish characters), and when I try to paste something in Turkish into the Codex CLI interface, it again fails to display Turkish characters.

For example, instead of writing Turkish letters like ç, ğ, ö, ü, ş, ı, İ, it shows broken characters such as �.

Yes, It is still broken in 0.36.0 version. We can not use correctly.

It turned out the issue wasn’t related to Codex CLI. Everyone experiencing this problem should download the latest Windows Terminal from the Microsoft Store, then replace the old Windows Terminal profile with the new one, and the issue will be resolved.

If you want to access the CLI from within VS Code, it even causes problems in Git Bash.
