Displayed quota values don't match

I change the quota of an user through web ui => that appears as remaining space in a space widget as x bytes of <quota> used => I change the quota of that user to no restriction through web ui. => in client still the previous quota is shown => After waiting for so long, the quota is not shown (as it is set to "no restriction"). force syncing also did not update the client's UI.
→ This bug was fixed after mentioning here but still persists in v3.0.0

@anon-pradip could you validate that this is indeed a client bug, I think I've also seend an incorrect quota displayed in the web ui.
