This issue collects feature ideas or technical requirements that are blocked by not having the capacity for a backend side implementation.
Peek into versions of files
The idea is that when looking at the version history of a file, the main action you want to take is looking into the respective version to identify if you want to restore exactly that one.

More previews
The value of tiles view is currently a bit limited by not having many file types being supported by the thumbnailer, i.e. having no previews.

App installation experience
The admin experience with installing apps is currently really frustrating regarding CSP. Apps should be able to define (or propose for approval) additional CSP rules which then get merged into one set of CSP rules. Same goes for defaults in the binary being extended by the admin (not possible at the moment, must be completely overwritten).

Image sources in editor
The user experience of pasting external image sources into our text/md editor is awful. This touches CSP again... but a solution probably doesn't lie in additional CSP rules.
PDF conversion
We'd like to introduce a file action (e.g. for the context menu) for PDF conversion.
