At MIT, we deployed the master branch on one of our instances and started getting user requests where they submitted correct answers, but the progress page displays 0/1 for some of the problems, even though their correct submission exists.
We suspect that this extra layer of caching is contributing to such issues and would like to revert this PR.
We are not able to find out the exact steps till this point, but we are looking for the steps.
Here are the tentative steps (Note: these are not final steps but i played around these and reproduced the issue):
