Draft Agenda:

[We agreed that these regular meetings would be focussed on CoverageJSON. People were encouraged to attend the EDR API SWG for EDR issues, and the Met Ocean DWG for wider issues. All would be on Agora] [Post Meeting Note: Agora issues addressed and meetings can be set up in the appropriate Event Space and the meetings would be Live Rooms]

Progress, including previous actions

CoverageJSON V1.0.1 now the main branch to include:

  • Version Object [DONE]
  • OGC JSON-LD Context Registers as well as original -awaiting oms and eumetnet URIs [Kathi testing JSON-LD and context aspects]
    • Still awaiting OGC establishing register for JSON-LD contexts
    • awaiting URIs for oms and rodeo/eumetnet/etc namespaces - but no change to code required
  • MultiPoint etc bug fix

CoverageJSON V1.1 to include

  • Extra Time dimension in domain
  • Ensemble Dimension in domain
  • Custom dimensions (like API EDR, API Coverages and API-Common 9called UAD Uniform Additioonal Dimension)

Timescale/timeline:

  • OGC Tech Committee Oct 2025, Boulder, Colorado

  • GeoZARR - first Wed of the month at 15:00 UTC
  • EDR Part 3: Profile Support [OAB review passed and about to be released for Public Request For Comment]
  • EDT Part 1: Core V1.2 - [processed public comments and editorial finalised for publication and TC Vote]
