Improvements to the UX for the PV indicator #46
Description
Improvements to the UX for the grid indicator:
Current layout with and without battery:
Proposal for a new layout:
2.a. Move the PV indicator to the left (or down if it is at the top).
- Reposition the PV indicator to a suitable amount on the left.
- This would free up some vertical (or horizontal) space for additional optional labels.
2.b. Icon and values in circle:
- Move all values and the icon inside the circle.
- This would logically and visually group the PV indicator.
2.c Show the percentage of PV generated as an arc:
- Use the circle as an indicator of the percentage of the total produced power with an arc if the additional entity 'max_pv_power' is defined.
- Define the arc colour.
2.d. Consume space in the middle of card for clarity (this space is now wasted).
Example shown in image (all values are artificial):
- Usage in a three-phase system with power labels for each phase.
- Total PV power in the circled PV indicator.
- Custom icon.
- The percentage of maximum power with an arc (0 degrees on the right, with increasing values in a counter-clockwise direction).
- If possible, move the circled PV indicator even further to the left (down), depending on the situation.
