Scenario:

generate carts or pull data via posix archiveinterface from a readonly share/volume

Steps to Reproduce:

mount archiveinterface volume readonly and attempt to pull files via api

I think the biggest blocker for this is how to test this so we can verify what works when operating on a read-only backend storage system.

Thought on this one would be to mount a loop back in Travis CI that is either squashfs or CD ISO format

Interesting take.. Especially as a bind mount might require more privilege than we may have in travis.
