I think the approach in #9 using the official Thanks for the PR! I managed to accidentally unsubscribe myself from all my repositories, and only saw this now. Apologies for the delayed response :| |

By specifying the binary libraries and removing build-essentials and dependencies after the build is complete, the image is lighter by several megabytes.
