Topology - Support for manual groups in pipeline layout

Describe the feature
An application should be able to group nodes in the topology based on what is given and not have them effect the layout. Basically, the groups should be ignored during layout and the application will render them to encompass the pipeline task nodes.

Are there visuals for this feature? If applicable, please include examples for each state and for varying widths
